This temporary section of the program aims to promote the relaunch of Quebec cultural enterprises by facilitating the production and dissemination of Quebec cultural content, as well as to allow the monetization of Quebec cultural content and the remuneration of Quebec artists, all in the context of social distancing.


  • Applicant companies must:
  • Be a legally incorporated for-profit or not-for-profit company, established and registered with the Quebec, under Quebec control and operating mainly in a field relevant to SODEC's activities

  • Have their head office and principal place of business in Quebec, and demonstrate that the majority control of the company is held by persons with their a tax residence in Quebec

  • Sole proprietorships are ineligible, except for applicant companies in the Arts and Crafts field
  • Eligible projects must be one-time substitution or adaptation projects that enable the production and presentation/dissemination of shows, events and Quebec cultural content in a context of social distancing
  • Projects must enable cultural enterprises to pursue their usual production and presenttion/dissemination activities through others means, by adapting, reconfiguring, or creating new ones
  • Eligible projects include:
  • Capture projects for dissemination in various formats and on various

  • platforms

  • Cultural initiatives in new or redeveloped physical locations

  • Projects that re-invest public or digital space in an original or innovative way

  • For the adaptation or development of a project that has been stopped or interrupted, and for which the applicant company has already obtained financial support, only the expenses related to its adaptation or its redevelopment and social distancing measures will be eligible
  • Eligible activities include:
  • Project production and implementation

  • Capture, digitization

  • Dissemination, promotion, marketing, discoverability

  • Activities related to social distancing measures applying to the various stages listed above

Eligible Expenses

  • Honoraria, fees and broadcasting/performance rights
  • Labour costs directly connected to the project
  • Project production and implementation expenses
  • Material and equipment costs specific to the project
  • Ticketing expenses
  • Costs related to the implementation of social distancing measures and arranging the space during the production, capture, recording and broadcasting stages
  • Administrative expenses (limited to a maximum of 10% of the budget)
  • Any other expenses that are relevant and necessary for the project
  • Expenses incurred before March 13, 2020 are ineligible

  • Copies of the governing documents, certificate of constitution, articles of incorporation, declaration of registration, certificate of amendment and partnership or shareholders agreement (if applicable)

  • Shareholders and directors identification form

  • Organizational structures for the applicant company and, if applicable, any affiliated companies, including shareholders

  • Curriculum vitae of the applicant company’s executives
