This program fosters the integration of visual artists into professional networks of contemporary art, assisting them to acquire and develop tools or equipment required for creation, promotion and distribution, including digital technologies. It also contributes to the improvement of workshop working conditions through the acquisition of health and safety related equipment.

Criteria
- Applicants:

Must count with more than three years of professional artistic practice in Québec or elsewhere. The support is also intended for Inuit artists and artists belonging to the First Nations of Canada

Must have disseminated a work or a body of works publicly, in venues and/or a context recognized by his peers. These works must have been produced independently of his training or subsequent to it.

Should commit to invest an amount matching or exceeding the support to be received for the project.

Cannot have more than five separate applications and receive a maximum of five grants per CALQ fiscal year, from April 1st to March 31st

Cannot have more than three projects being considered, supported or under way at the same time.
- Not eligible:

Projects carried out under the supervision of an educational program.

A project that has already been rejected by the Conseil.

A group legally constituted as a not-for-profit or profit-making company or general partnership.
Eligible Expenses
- The purchase and upgrading of tools and equipment related to the production of artworks.
- The integration of new technologies.
- The purchase and installation of health and safety related equipment (ventilation, dust extractor, etc.)
- The design and realization of promotional and marketing tools (publications and promotional pamphlets, websites, professional photography services, etc.)
- The acquisition of digital equipment and software for promotional purposes.
