Description

As part of this program, a Québec film/video maker, author of a documentary film project, accompanied by an editor will undertake a two-month post-production residency at the CCCP, located just outside Paris. In accordance with the conditions governing the residency, the film/video maker must have completed the filming of the work before departure for residency and be available during the entire two-month residency in France.

The bursary amount is to cover the cost of their personal insurance, as well as travel and living expenses. Accommodation and reception services for the successful Québec candidates will be provided by the CCCP.

Information of the host institution

Founded in 1983 in Seine-Saint-Denis by two filmmakers, the Centre de création cinématographique Périphérie (CCCP) is focused on supporting documentary creation by providing industry-related assistance and technical services (editing). To date, more than 100 films have benefited from the CCCP’s services.

The Québec creators will be welcomed under the auspices of the CCCP’s residency program (“Cinéastes en résidence”). This original form of creative support enables film/video makers to bring their works to a higher level of quality thanks to attentive artistic guidance during the editing process, multiple screenings of the work in progress and project-related discussions organized by the CCCP team and documentary film professionals.
