Description
This program enables regional tourism associations to support companies in their region in identifying the digital development challenges they face and carrying out related projects. More specifically, the projects covered by this agreement must:
Accelerate the development of skills sets
Accelerate digital transformation
Create innovative content to enhance experiences and inspire travellers at every stage of their journey
Open To
- Small and medium-sized tourist businesses For-profit companies
- Not-for-profit organizations
- Cooperatives
- Recognized First Nations and communities
- Any combination of the above
Criteria
- Applications must be submitted directly to the targeted region’s tourist association (contact each association for specific deadlines)
- Applicant organizations must be one of the following:

Tourist attractions

Tourist accommodation establishments
- Businesses can present only one application for financial support per call for projects, including any participation in an association of businesses
- Eligible organizations must respect, where appropriate, their obligations towards the regional tourist association if already receiving a grant
- Ineligible applicants include regional and sectoral tourist associations, municipal entities, crown corporations, as well as ministries and organizations of the governments of Quebec and Canada
- Business registered in the Quebec registry of companies ineligible for public contracts are ineligible
- Additional criteria is determined by each regional tourist association individually
Eligible Expenses
- Professional fees related to supporting the implementation of proposed solutions
- Technological equipment purchases enabling the use of proposed solutions
- Subscription to cloud computing services if applicable
- Costs related to purchasing materials, software, or mobile applications to increase client interaction
- Cost of purchasing an integrated management software package or ecommerce software
- Travel fees, general costs, salaries, and benefits for human resources working specifically on the completion of the project
- Training and development costs for the human resources responsible for or connected to project implementation
- The non-refundable portion of taxes relating to eligible expenses
Supporting Documents
- Electronic application form (each region will provide its own form)
- A copy of the certificate of incorporation or registration certificate
- Confirmation of financial commitments (letters of support, partnership agreements, confirmation emails, etc.)
- A resolution assigning the signatory of the application
- List of board members
- Financial statements from the most recent completed accounting period
- Copies of all calls for tender sent to consultants, firms, and other service providers containing a description of the issue, objectives, suggested methodology, work schedule, budget, and deliverables
- Copies of at least two professional service offers received
- Additional document requirements vary according to individual regional tourism associations
