Description
This program seeks to contribute to the knowledge, recognition, and promotion of Inuit and First Nations artists and the Inuit and First Nations arts, as well as to foster the reappropriation and transmission of traditional Inuit and First Nations knowledge, languages and arts, in addition to their development. Other objectives include:
Facilitating the early career and professional development of Inuit and First Nations artists by supporting their first professional experiences and fostering sponsorships and guidance
Supporting Inuit and First Nations artists in their practice throughout their careers
Supporting the dissemination, circulation, and promotion of Inuit and First Nations works and artists inside and outside Québec

- Inuit and First Nations arts organizations
Criteria
- Eligible applicant organizations must:

Be a legally constituted, non-profit legal person with its head office in Quebec

Offer services or present professional artistic activities

Have a board of directors composed of a majority of Inuit or Aboriginal people belonging to one of the First Nations of Canada, having Canadian citizenship and ordinarily residing in Quebec
- Applications must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the start of the project
- Maximum of eight concurrent projects with CALQ per year
- Organizations funded by SODEC or the Ministry of Culture and Communications are ineligible
- Eligible activities include:
