Description

This section of the program supports professional associations, organizations, and groups in the field of books and publishing for the entirety of their activities or for one-off projects falling under their mandate. It promotes exchanges and consultation within the relevant professional fields and encourages the development of activities such as member communications, professional recognition, and promotion of the field.

  • Declaration of applicant company form
  • A document presenting the organization, including:
  • A brief history of the organization, highlighting key events

  • Its mission and objectives, as well as the role it plays in the publishing field

  • Services offered to members, recruitment process, and member fee structure

  • Member code of ethics, if applicable

  • A list of members at the time of the application

  • The primary partners with which the organization works

  • A document explaining the organization’s structures of governance, including:
  • The board of directors, indicating any vacant positions, as well as the board’s election and renewal procedures

  • A list of committees, including their roles, mandates, goals, and a list of committee members

  • If applicable, a resolution from the board of directors authorizing a representative to sign an application form

  • A list of regular employees and their role within the organization, as well as a brief description of the management team and its expertise

  • An outline of any changes to organizational governance anticipated in the coming year

  • An action and communication plan, indicating:
  • Activities that will begin or conclude over the next financial period

  • The modes of communication used to reach members and make people aware of the organization’s activities

  • Budget forecasts
  • Financial statements
  • Master file, including:
  • Copies of the governing documents, certificate of constitution, articles of incorporation, declaration of registration, certificate of amendment and partnership or shareholders agreement (if applicable)

  • Organizational structures for the applicant company and, if applicable, any affiliated companies, including shareholders

  • Curriculum vitae of the applicant company’s executives

  • Statutes, regulations and, if applicable, code of ethics
